Heading into the city center, there are various Christmas markets filled with all types of goodies for purchase. There are always a lot of local vendors from shops that sell different types of olive oils, ceramics, ornaments, and handmade gifts. As well as all types of figurines and home decor.
Supermarkets
If you are looking for a few other alternative affordable holiday gifts, head out of the city center and into a supermarket. It isn´t the first place you would think of to find a Christmas gift, but believe it or not, it´s a great place! Spanish supermarkets sell alcohol, including brands of wine, champagne, Iberia ham, cheese, and chocolates, among others.

Most supermarkets are closed on bank holidays as well as Sundays. There are alternative express markets open in various locations around the city centers. They typically close around 10 pm, so if you are looking to buy any alcoholic beverages, including wines, champagne, or beers, try getting them before closing time.
